我们比赛的地方是在美国的旧金山，那里风景很美，我好期盼啊！可是爸爸妈妈还在犹豫。妈妈说：“美国的冬天很冷，现在美国的.甲型流感很严重，还是安全第一啊！”爸爸说：“去美国的签证很严，不可能三个人同时出去，你们俩在外面我不放心，费用也很高的！”

那是在美国Lakeside School所上的第一堂课，它无疑是一堂地道的英语课，但同时也是一堂奇特的英语课。
教室的模样很特别，乍一看，实在不像个教室，反而像一个小会议厅。十多个学生围坐在圆桌旁，各做各的一份儿事，有聊天的，有看书的，还有吃“早点”的。不时地看一下教室上方的大挂钟，还有两分钟就要上课了。趁着这段时间，我环视了教室的四壁，上边贴满了彩图。自己画的吧!不太漂亮，，大都是抽象的。这样的情景似乎十几年前在幼儿园中见到过，这个教室确实使我感到自由、愉快和奇特。

Long long ago, the tyrant Claudius was in chare of Roman. His tyranny made all the people angry and indignant. Not only lost people their home, but also wars were broken everywhere. What a worse, all the men must join in the army so that increase power. When the news was spread, every couple was forced to separate. Even if lovers must damage the marriage contract. This was more than people could bear. However, tyranny could not stop loving and love moved Valentine. In order to finished lovers’ dream, he helped them to hold weddings.
