Since the winter last year,the haze has occurred a lot of times.Haze is air pollution in which is mixed up with dust, smoke and other dry particles ,and it obscure the clarity of the sky and interacts with the natural environment.This kind of air pollutant come from a variety of natural and manmade sources. Natural sources can include windblown dust, and soot from wildfires. Manmade sources can include motor vehicles, and industrial fuel burning, and manufacturing operations. The one of the main cause that touches off haze is manufacturing operations. Many factories were over measure produced the smog that had over the standard and the smog seriously influence the air become air pollution.
it has done great harm to our daily life.many traffic accidents happened just because of the heavy haze weather,more and more people have to go to see the doctor because the serious disease caused by the haze,quite a lot of flights have to be put off,a great number of people have to stay at home for fear of the poisonous air caused by the haze.
People have realized the great harm caused by the smog and the importance of protecting the environment.people all over the country are taking measures to reduce the smog weather.the government suggests people go to work or school with the public traffic, such as the bus and the underground.Also we should plant more trees.One of effective solutions to help eliminate haze is to make some chemistry changes during the manufacturing process,so it could reduce harmful emissions which are produced by manufacturing operations According to me, I will go to school by bike or on foot, and I won’t throw the waste anywhere.in addition, I will tell the people I meet to protect the environment as possible as they can.would you like to tell me some good ideas?i’m looking forward to your reply. It starts in elementary school when a teacher singles us out to “speak up”. Remember the panic of producing the wrong answer? Our palms sweated, we might have been short of breath, and filled with trembling knees, nausea, a stomachache, and a rapid heartbeat. We felt awkward and dumb.
As adults, we’re still afraid we’ll make fools of ourselves. We worry that listeners will think we are lightweights. And we should worry.
Public speaking isn’t just a sweet skill to have. Being a first-rate orator can lead to job promotions and personal advancement, while being a lousy one is a disadvantage.
One way to feel more comfortable on the stage is by checking out the room in advance, observing the set-up, and testing any equipment you’ll be using.
Some speaking specialists suggest opening with a provocative question, or a recent news event that relates to your topic. Other coaches think adding a little tasteful humor can liven up the talk if the subject is suitable.

l 事件描述
一堂外教课上局部同学的表示使我警醒,回顾以前的英语教学,我过于关注了怎样让同学在考试时书写出规范答案,却导致了他们在真实生活中上演了“规范无礼”的一幕。
今天是本学期三年级外教口语班第一次上课,同学们满怀期待,第二节一下课就兴奋地让我带着他们到口语室去。一进门,一位约三十出头的女教师微笑着站起身来,同学们纷纷挥手向她打招呼,“Hello!”“Hi!”“Nice to meet you.”一声声热情的问候,一张张可爱的笑脸包围了她。她向我说,他们是这些天来她所接触到最有礼貌最热情的小朋友,她很喜欢他们。听了这番赞美之辞,我不由有些得意。对了,光顾着高兴,还没请教对方姓名呢,“May I have your name, please?” 我问道,她说她叫Angela。就在我们说话的这会儿,有几个男孩跃跃欲试,举手问Angela:“What’s your name?”这个句子就印在课本里,要是在平时的课堂上,我准会觉得他们发音准确,声音响亮。可是现在,在外国朋友面前,这句话听起来是那么的刺耳,其他同学也争先恐后地抛出了自身的问题 ,What’s your name? 这堂生动的外教课,我的大局部同学表示都很出色,反应灵敏,大胆发言,可是,少局部同学暴露出我教学的单薄环节。第一,当询问对方姓名的'时候,仅仅知道说What’s your name?而忽视了礼貌用语Please。第二,当接过他人递来的东西时,忘记说Thank you。第三,对他人尤其是女性直接问How old are you? 这些或许不是大问题,但同学只知机械套用书本句子,没有考虑到中外文化习俗的差别,在实际的语言交际中就了出现了问题。
l 教学反思
我反复考虑着自身的教学,在关注培养同学的学习兴趣,大胆实践的精神和语言知识的传授之外,还忽视了什么呢?那就是要进一步培养同学跨文化交际的意识和能力,提升其人文素养。《英语课程规范》明确规定,基础教育阶段英语课程的总目标是培养同学的综合语言运用能力,它的形成建立在同学语言技能、语言知识、情感态度和文化意识等素质整体发展的基础上。同学的文化意识与人文素养是能得体运用语言的保证。在教学中,教师要灵活,有发明性的使用课本,处置好语言与文化的关系,努力使同学在学习英语的过程中了解英语国家文化;协助他们提高理解和恰当运用英语的能力,不时发展同学跨文化交际的意识与能力。让他们了解中西方社会道德观念,思维表达方式的不同,扩展同学的视野,培养国际型的人才。想到这里,我要立即做两件事,一是代我的同学们去向Angela道歉,二是要在我的教学计划中增加新的内容。
