In many less developed areas, some parents prefer boys to girls. As a result, many girls can’t go to school.

　　I think we should do something to control the population. One answer is known as the one-child policy. It has worked well in controlling China’s population.

Some families have bought color TV. Their life is much better than before. It’s said that some American friends would come to visit their village, too.
