初看闫老师长得似乎和白雪公主里的小矮人一般。远远看过去，好像只有一个两岁孩子的身高，头上顶着短得像刺猬，卷得像泡面的头发，活脱脱一个会动的毛线球。靠近一看，在这个会动的毛线球中间，有两只小得几乎看不见的小芝麻，在这对小芝麻上长着一双稀疏得好似荒漠的眉毛，大大的鼻子几乎占了她那凹陷脸颊的一半！厚厚的嘴唇似乎就是影视剧中的香肠嘴。又厚又红，像是刚吃完火锅一般红肿。额头上，寸草不生，像一片光秃秃的森林一般，头顶上的发际线高得要超过天际。
但是相处久了之后，我从她那小芝麻般的眼睛中，看见了一些不为人知的秘密，看见了她每天因为班里的同学而皱着她那稀疏的眉毛；看见了她那因烦恼和忧愁，而日益减少的.毛线球；看见了她那因每天像个保姆一样，不停讲我们，时常新城口腔溃疡的香肠嘴；还有她那因烦躁而逐渐上升的发际线。

放学后，我把队伍带到学校门口，就独自走在了回家的路上。手里拎的是妈妈中午送饭时用的不锈钢保温饭盒，双肩上背着的是写有“NIKE”字样的书包，沉甸甸的，里面除了自己的学习用品之外，还有几十本中外文本。那是同学们交上来的英语作业，这只是其中的.一部分，还有一些同学没有完成呢。幸亏是这样，否则我可就惨了。因为在学校里没时间检查，又不能耽误老师收作业，我只好背回家里来“办公”了。
二实验的作业不是特别多，但也不少，加上去大桥外语飞跃校区参加口语决赛，耽搁了些时间，直到将近十点钟我总算完成了所有的任务，疲惫不堪的准备上床睡觉。“当一个英语小组长，太累了！”这是我此时此刻最想说的一句话。但当我的脑海中浮现出老师那充满期待和放心的目光时，当同学们异口同声地喊出“谭炳垚”时，我欣然接受了这49份来自老师和同学们的寄托。
这是信任，同时更是责任。我必须更加严格要求自己，给同学们树立起榜样，真正的做到名符其实、当之无愧。请大家放心吧，我会努力做得更好的。
