Yesterday we went to a nearby village to help the peasants get in the crops. We left our school early in the morning. It took us half an hour to reach the village. 一次，我背英语课文，有一个单词发音不准，老师一遍又一遍地帮我校正，由于紧张，我还是读不准，急得我额头直冒汗，老师不厌其烦地教我，直到我将音读准为止。像这样的事已不计其数。
记得还有一次，有几道英语练习题我不会做，放学后，老师单独为我补课。天色已渐渐地暗了下来，老师仍一遍又一遍地教我，一个小时过去又是一个小时。妈妈不放心地赶到了学校，一进教室，见丁老师仍不知疲倦地在那里教我。此情此景，妈妈被感动了……
一天，妈妈给丁老师打电话为我请病假。丁老师说:“宝宝爸爸的'来信我收到了。”这时我才得知，爸爸给丁老师写了致谢信。当妈妈再一次向丁老师道谢时，丁老师只说了一句“不要谢，这是我应该做的。”这是一句多么朴实无华的言语呀!让我好感动。

本次活动，六年级共有180名学生参加了比赛，50名同学进入了决赛，最后30名同学获奖。经过充分的赛前准备，在学校领导的大力支持下，英语研修组进行了精心的组织和安排，无论是从试题的命制，还是监考，到最后的阅卷，总分，奖品的书写方面，各个工作人员都能够认真负责，使活动有条不紊得进行。可以说，这次活动举行得很成功，通过作文比赛，使学生和教师共同了解了目前学生学习的状况，通过寻找差距，激发了学生学习的兴趣，也带动了一大批英语学习爱好者迎头赶上。
通过本次活动，我们认识到，在今后的.日常教学中要一如既往，持之以恒的对学生进行训练，培养学生良好的学习习惯，争取在考试的书面表达题中提高得分率，取得好成绩。
