  When I first set my eyes on a father and his daughter, I heard the father ask about his daughter's school life. To my surprise, the girl told his father to read her blog so that he can get what he wants. Now, the Internet has been playing an increasingly important role in our day-to-day life. It has influenced us a lot, especially on our interpersonal communication.

  For one thing, the Internet makes the interpersonal communication more convenient. We can contact with each other no matter when and where. The Internet makes full use of time and space. What’s more, we can also share our daily life and knowledge through QQ, MSN, and blog with others. For another thing, the Internet speeds up our interpersonal communication. We can save time to do our work. However, the Internet also brings about many problems, such as safety problems, cheating and so on. Many people spend too much time on the Internet, and they don't have time to interact with person in real life, which result in the absence of ability in communication in reality.

  It has both advantages and disadvantages to interact through the Internet. We can get to the problem in our work and study. Last but not lest, we have to talk with people and develop our ability to communicate in reality.

  由于受到母语的影响,提起英语作文这个话题,着实令许多的学生望而生畏,不少学生习惯了用中文思维方式和表现手法来写作文,其内容和质量可想而知。那么在新课改的形式下,如何提高学生的书面表达能力?日前已成为广大英语教师努力探讨和期待解决的一个问题。

  一、激发学生的写作兴趣,才能调动学生的学习积极性

  兴趣是学生学习成败的重要因素。要让学生置身于良好的英语学习气氛中,使每一位学生以轻松愉快的心情参与课堂教学,在潜移默化中掌握英语知识。

  二、由简到繁进行写作训练

  学生刚接触英语时,有惧怕英语的心理,老师此时应根据教学规律先易后难、由简到繁的原则,用简单的词组组成句子,对学生逐步训练,以此为起点,慢慢积累,使学生乐于接受、轻松完成,享受到成功感。教师在平日英语教学中要注意学生在写作中出现的句式错误,告诉学生所有的文章都是由单词到词组、词组到句子、句子到段落、段落到文章循序渐进而成,所以对一些基本的`单词、常见的句型一定要牢记心中,这样既可以使文章锦上添花,又可以减少语法错误。

  例如以way为例,way涉及到这些词组:on one’s way to、lose one’s way、by the way、the way to、go this way等。这些词组可以组成以下句子:

  On my way to school I picked a pen up yesterday.

  The girl lost her way just now.

  By the way,can you take me to the park?

  Excuse me,which is the way to the school?

  In this way,floods are prevented.

  这种做法使学生扩大了词汇量,积累了知识,也为学生自由表达内心世界提供了有力的条件和广阔的空间。这也符合新课程标准所提出的要为学生自主写作提供空间的原则,既减少了对学生写作的束缚,又激发了学生自由表达的能力,提高了他们学习英文的兴趣。

  三、训练模式要多样化

  英语写作是一种抽象的枯燥的事情,要想让学生满怀热情地学习,必须改变传统的单一的教学训练模式,训练的题材更需要灵活多变。我们教师可以采用看图作文、关键词作文、情景作文、口头作文、命题作文、自由作文等各种形式。

  四、以课本为基础,发散学生的作文思维

  例如,一个问句可以用多种方法提问,也可以用多种方法回答。像这样的句子:

  Excuse me,where is the school?

  Excuse me,which is the way to the school?

  Could you tell me how I can get to the school?

  Could you tell me how to reach the school?

  回答时我们可以采用多种方式来作答:

  Walk along the street, take the second turning on the left.

  Go along the road,turn left at the second crossing and so on.

  Go across the bridge……

  Go up the street……

  这样可以使学生的才思源源不断,避免单调重复同一句话,在文章中可以锦上添花。同时,教师可以让学生小组交流、相互讨论,以便进一步完善或者拓展其写作思想,把过去的“一言堂”改为“众言堂”。这对培养学生敏捷、开阔、灵活、独特的写作思维都具有重要意义。

  五、英语作文教学的问题实际上是观念问题

  我们都知道:“教育的最终目的就是养成良好的习惯。”习惯的培养是根本的,从习惯着手进行英语作文教学是新课程的教学观念,更是英语教学的当务之急。我们必须帮助学生养成积累英语语言的习惯、观察体验记录生活的习惯、日记练笔的习惯、想好再写的习惯、修改文章的习惯等。培养这些习惯需要教师有热情、有恒心、有策略,让学生逐渐的养成“英语作文生活化、生活英文化”的习惯,这样学生才可以写出行文流利优美的英语作文。

  总而言之,新课标下的英语作文教学之路是一条光明之路。只要我们大家树立信心,注意把握学生的心理特征,激发学生的英语写作兴趣,养成良好的习惯,多实践,多总结,我们必然会收获一颗悬挂英语高空的Super Star。

For example, as well as explaining a new language, language teachers often provide other learning experiences such as books, charts, videos, audio cassettes, songs, debates and group work.   In the last 50 years or so, researchers have been studying learners in an attempt to identify all the possible learning styles that humans use. They have found that we can very roughly divide people into three groups — those who learn best through seeing, those who learn best through listening and those who learn best through moving, doing or touching.

  Some research has identified eight distinct learning styles, and researchers have made up tests to find out which of these learning styles best suits different people. These tests show that, although most people have one dominant style of learning, they are also able to use other learning styles effectively. Some people even seem to have many different learning styles.

  The advantage of knowing what kind of learner you are is that you can then study in the way that best suits your learning style.
