　　众所周知，南外是一所以外语见长的学校，而其中擅长英语的“精英”们，更是数不胜数。进入这所学校后，我才明白自己的英语多么欠缺，于是，我就开始了“漫漫”的学英语之路。殊不知这是一条苦乐交织的路。

　　“天啊，为什么每天的英语单词都这么多啊！”几乎天天都能听到我和同学们的'感叹。回想小学时，一学期也学不了多少新词。而现在，英语笔记本是消耗最大的一本本子，甚至一天学的生词，与一学期的相差无几。繁重的英语单词“压”得我喘不过起来，就连写其他作业时，我嘴里也不时轻声念叨着。

　　最怕的，还是英语考试了。我像极了寓言中写到的那个捡一个玉米棒掉一个的大灰熊：面对厚厚一本英语本，看着那些以前学过，可现在早已忘记的单词，我的大脑一片空白——当然，考试成绩也不尽如人意。学英语，真是一件“苦差事”啊！

　　当然，学英语也并非完全在苦海里“挣扎”。南外的英语课，充满了趣味：每节课都会播放一首英文歌，课前也有同学上讲台演讲。而且老师们一直在教我们地道的句型和实用的表达方法。我永远也不会忘记，当逛商场时发现药店门口写着pharmacy时的激动；坐地铁时看到Olympicstadium的激动……我感到所有事物正以一种从未有过的方式重组，正如用截然不同的方法诠释整个世界。大概这就是学英语的魅力所在了吧！
