五年级的时候，记得是下册，有一个竞赛是全国性的，那时候我的英语分数最多才八十二分罢，怎料被科任老师叫去参加比赛。那天参加比赛，本以为很顺畅很简单，谁知要去的途中下起了牛毛细雨，天空也是灰沉沉的，带队的老师也没那么早来学校门口，所以我们三个人就在校门口挡雨。那场面何堪啊？一路上的泥泞，走路也慌慌张张的，因为老师规定八点点集中，所以很快我们就到了校门口。
目的`地不远，就在本镇另所小学，可怜雨越来越大，人也越来越多，在那所小学里，安安静静的，仿佛充满了竞争的“杀机”。
八年级上册我也“幸运”又被选取参加四级英语竞赛。

古今中外，英语已成为世界公认的联合国语言，再怎么样我们作为中国的人别给外国人瞧不起。英语固然重要，我们也不是永远都学不会，对吧？以新的一门学科去从零开始学习，我们也可以像当初我们学习拼音和文字一样，久而久之也就会了。每个人的新生都是一门语言指引的，只要忘却自身，依然可以掌控未来。
