As far as I am concerned, this TV program exerts tremendously propitious influence on both audience and the singers involved.

　　First and foremost, I AM A SINGER provides the singers who participate in it with a fantastic opportunity to show different characteristics and singing skills on stage which are not presented to audience before. For instance, the famous singer Chen Ming sang a song in the form of rock, which broke her originally relent appearance in our mind.

　　Secondly, this heated program enables newly-known celebrities to show their incredible capabilities, making the public know them more. Zhang Jie and Deng Ziqi serve as perfect examples. Their brilliant performances earned them applause and accolade, which were then externalized as profits they gain in their concert.

　　What’s more important, SINGER also led to a magnificent treatment for audience. Since all the singers have adroit and professional skills in singing, each song serves as an audio-visual treatment or delicacy for us.

On the one hand, modern people have to cope with the quick pace and unavoidable stress of their work or life; therefore, they can hardly devote time to reading books. On the other hand, people tend to be more material-oriented involving their social status, amount of wealth or prospects of getting promotion, which eclipse the important benefits from reading classical books.

　　To me, it is essential for most undergraduates to read certain classical books, especially ones filled with life-long motivation and sagacious thoughts, which may not guarantee them short-term returns but will bring them far-reaching reward.

Having defined our goal, we must have a clear idea about the means to attain the goal. 　　Another crucial implication is that, in order to succeed, we must keep sharpening our axe. Ours is a technology-dominated world and our social progress is inextricably connected with technological advances. It is perhaps because of Lincolns wisdom that the United States lays special emphasis on developing technologies and has become the worlds most technologically developed country.

　　Keeping Lincolns wisdom in mind, we should be well prepared in everything we do. Moreover, we should never stop where we are and keep searching for more effective means to reach our objectives.

　　Since the financial crisis swept the world, the global economy has sunk into a severe recession. It's hard to get through a day without hearing or reading news about the devastating effects of the crisis: A world of companies go bankrupt, millions of employees are laid off, high-return investment bubbles burst, and huge sums of loans can never be retrieved. Its impact on our daily life can be felt in all walks of life.
