　　今天，我正在家里读英语单词，竟然碰到了一个不懂的单词，连忙翻看英语词典查找，可是却怎么找也找不到。妈妈看见了，对我说：“你去找邻居大姐姐，让她教你吧！”面对一个不是特别熟悉的大姐姐，我不知道该怎么办，我的`前面仿佛有一片汪洋大海，不肯往前挪一步。我低下头，静静地思考着，时间一分一秒地过去了。我终于鼓起勇气拿起英语书，走到她们家门前，站了片刻，犹犹豫豫地伸出了小手，敲了敲门，开门的是大伯伯。我说：“你好！我碰到了一些不认识的英语单词，想请教一下姐姐。”大伯伯连声说好，请我进去。我看见大姐姐连忙说：“大姐姐你好，我有几个英语单词不会读，你能教教我吗？”姐姐放下手中的碗筷，接过我手中的英语书说：“哪几个？”，我指了指，姐姐很流利地把这几个单词读出来了，还耐心地教了我三遍。问过大姐姐后，我快速地跑回家了。妈妈虽然表扬了我，但是我脸上没有露出一丝高兴地表情。哈哈，其实我被她家养的狗吓坏了，一点也高兴不起来。

　　Cars and Air Pollution

　　Too many cars have created a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion, accidents and fast consumption, cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities. All the time, they are pumping huge amounts of waste gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very harmful, causing disease and even death.

　　One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. In Shanghai, some of the public buses begin to run on petrol. But it may take decades for the new models of clean cars to completely replace the traditional ones.

　　Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. If the price of petrol rises constantly and the public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough, most people will not buy private cars. And the total number of cars in big cities will reduce greatly.

　　On the whole, the elimination of air pollution needs the collective efforts from the government, the public and the environmentalists.

　　于是，我问他：“东怎么读？”他答道：“west”，我倒吸了一口冷气，又问：“北怎么读？” “east”他毫不犹豫的答到。天啊!全颠倒了。我一时被他弄得哭笑不得。我先教表弟复习了英语26个字母，随后，我又叫表弟给我背了一遍音标。然后我才真正的教弟弟学今天学过的单词，我一个单词一个单词的`教，他一个一个的跟着学，我们俩一边写一边读，经过一番苦战后，他还是没有学会，怎么办呢？我想起我学英语时我的老师教我的小窍门了，我就把这些小窍门教给他，我对他说：“你可以用小句子来记单词，如：chess就可以很快的记住。”我说完后，就教他说饶口令：两条蛇、下象棋、坐车里。他随着我放的音乐，也跟我说了起来，后来，我又教他用这种方法记那四个词语，他不一会就记会了。

　　在这个基础上我又教了他down这个单词，我跟他说：“d表示地球，因为你一往下看就是地球上的土地；o表示地球的结构是圆的，像鸡蛋；wn表示无门的意思。他们连在一起就是地球像鸡蛋一样无门可进。”这样下来，弟弟对英语的兴趣增长了许多。怎么样，我这个小老师还不错吧，嘻嘻！

　　When I was a child, I want to have lot of money, because I want to have many toys. If I have a lot of money, I can buy the factory which makes toys then I can have enough toys to play.

　　However, my dream changed as I growing up. At the stages of senior school and middle school, I hope I can have enough time to play but not to do so much homework. At these two stages, I was compelled to stay at classroom for most of my days; what’s more, I have to do a mass of homework after school. So at that time, I thirst for freedom.

　　For the present stage, I hope I can improve my English level and pass the CET6. English is always the inferior subject during my college. Now as a graduate student, I hope I can learn English well with the help of my teacher. Please wish my dream come true!
