She is not tall and not short. She likes wearing a white dress. She looks like an angle. Linda works very hard every day. And she is strict to us. But she is kind. Her class is so much fun. Really? 　　我的英语老师姓陈，是一个和蔼可亲的老师。因为陈老师年轻与温和，所以导致了我会在英语课上肆无忌惮地笑。

　　特征嘛，可以这样说：长着中等长的头发（貌似现在没有我的头发长），中等的身材，白皙的脸上长着许多皱纹，一看就知道是为我们班上的英语课课堂表现操心从而变多的。一对水汪汪的.眼睛，但是其实视力一点儿也不好；她还有一张樱桃般的嘴巴，笑起来就像一条荡漾的帆船。

　　陈老师在英语课上要求很放松，所以我在英语课上肆无忌惮地笑、聊天。还记得20xx年12月31日的英语课，那是我目前玩的最嗨的一次英语课了。虽然在那一堂课上被点名批评那么多次，但是还是抹杀不了我在英语课上讲话的原则。在下课，陈老师照样不生气，还是笑嘻嘻地和我说话。由此可以证明她是一个不记仇的人。

　　倘若这件事还是不能够说明她是一个不记仇的人的话，还可以看另一个事件：20xx年5月，我在网上、微博上、班级里宣传陈老师的偏心，但是她都没有生气，不是照样很阳光吗？这下，你应该知道了吧。

　　另外，陈老师是一个有耐心的家伙。因为一年没有当组长了，so，作业不会查了。要是我是语文组长或者数学组长的话，那早就要被骂死了。不过现在好了，碰上了一个好说话的老师。上次本子查不出来，陈老师居然亲自帮我查本子哎。本子没查出来还继续当了英语组长，然后在圣诞节还拿了一大叠子英语报作为圣诞礼物，价值20元呢！

　　不过，陈老师也有另外一面。上次居然把我这个暴力女狂惹哭了。有没有觉得太逆天了？没错，我也是这么觉得的。20xx年10月31日，万圣节前夕，因为我做事有原则，写中文一定要写在字里行间里面。但是，陈老师居然让我——啊，再写一遍中文，真是太悲催了。就是这件事，让我这个暴力女狂哭了。

　　当然，人都会有伤心的时候。陈老师是摩羯座的。也许，在你眼里，摩羯座的人都是很坚强的，但是，其实他们也许会在你不知道时悄悄流泪。so，陈老师也有鲜为人知的一面：也是在我宣传陈老师偏心，孔老师告诉我陈老师哭了。天哪，太逆天了吧

　　于是，又要叫我去帮陈老师解开心结。真是倒霉。

　　My First Chemistry Teacher

　　i will never forget my first chemistry teacher. he was a little man with thick glasses, but he had a strange way of making his classes lively and interesting. and his lessons were not easily forgotten.i still remember one of my lessons from this teacher. after the students were all in the lab, the teacher brought out three bott[es. one was filled with petrol, one with castor oil and one with vinegar. "now watch carefully," said the teacher.

　　he then filled a cup with some of the petrol, some of the castor oil and some of the vinegar. as the students watched him quiet[y, he mied the three together. after that, he held up one of his fingers and showed it to the class. he then dipped it into the cup. after a few seconds he took his finger out. "now watch," he said. "remember, you must do every thing as i do."he put a finger in his mouth, tasted it and smiled, looking rather pleased. then he handed the cup around the class of students. each student dipped a finger into the miture and sucked it. instead of smiling, each of them made a face. the miture tasted terrible.

　　when the cup was at last returned to the teacher, he said sadly, "i m sorry, none of you watched carefully enough. yes, i sucked a finger, but the finger i put into my muth was not the one i had dipped into the cup."it was my first important lesson as a student of chemistry and i never forgot it.

　　我的英语老师汪老师是一个很严厉的人。她戴着一副黑色边框的眼镜，看上去十分矜持，矜持中带着几分严肃。

　　汪老师很少使用戒尺，只不过用眼神和语言来震慑你，令人不寒而栗。这种感觉令人极不好受，比打在身上还难受千万倍。汪老师上课的时候，如果语气突然重了，那么下一句就会用低沉而清晰的声音来点名了。英语课上，汪老师说汉语时会带着点英文的口气，对于这一点，有的学生不太能接受。可是，汪老师的每一句讲授都抑扬顿挫，每一个单词的板书都一丝不苟，所以，我们每节课都听得非常认真，我们班的英语成绩自然是顶呱呱的！

　　她是一个很负责任的老师。每一节英语课，打预备钟前，她就早早等候在教室了，站在讲台上，用犀利的眼神扫视下面空着的位置。学生进来一个，她数一个，直等到最后一个进来的。要是铃声响过了某某同学才进教室，那这个学生的日子就不好过了，必须大声呼英语式的`“报告”，方可归位。

　　学习上，汪老师对我们的要求很严格。一般情况下，她会用纯粹的英语来上课，我们这些初一学生常常是一头雾水，找不到方向，老师就放慢语速重新说一遍，但是还有人不明白，她便会用中文来解释，所以一节课下来，常常是“中英结合课”。每一个知识点，她都非常努力的让每一个同学听清楚、弄明白。偶尔，个别捣蛋鬼趁着她板书的时候说小话，她觉察到了，她迅速回过頭来，鼓起眼珠，紧握拳头，手中攥着粉笔，不停地戳着黑板，好像要在黑板上刨出一个坑来。她气得说不出话来，整个人僵在那里，我们便立即鸦雀无声，场面略显尴尬。

　　其实，汪老师也有慈爱的一面。那天早自习，小明肚子疼，趴在了桌子上。汪老师走过去，用手摸摸小明的额头，然后拍拍小明的肩膀，关切地问：“这是怎么了？没发烧呀！一定是衣服穿少了嘛，凉了胃。我去弄点热水来！”不一会儿，汪老师给小明端来一杯开水，她还拿来了自己的暖手袋，让小明暖暖胃部。说来也神了，不到半个小时，小明就又活蹦乱跳的了！

　　一头乌黑如瀑布般的长发，一双炯炯有神的眼睛，颇像两颗大葡萄，一张能说会道的樱桃小嘴，再加上一对儿好看的柳叶眉，这就是我的英语老师——耿老师。

　　耿老师人特别有趣。还记得刚开学的时候，漂亮的她一走进教室，刚刚还乱哄哄的我们瞬间就安静了下来。她走上讲台，微笑着对我们说:“同学们，我姓耿，你们可以喊我耿老师，这学期我带你们的英语。”教室里立刻响起了热烈的掌声。之后，耿老师带我们玩了一个开火车的小游戏，她很会调节气氛。我们开火车的时候，火车到某个同学那里停车了，老师就说:“好，这辆车现在遇上大堵塞了或者说火车出现故障了……”她的'话总能引得我们开怀大笑，所以，我们全班都很喜欢她。

　　English writing was always easy for me, but that changed on the first day I walked into Mrs. Johnson’s class. Before that, I’d heard rumors from former students. They said she was strict and her class was hard to pass. So I was very nervous. The first time we met, Mrs. Johnson told us her class would be difficult, but she would give us new “tools” and guide us through. She explained that her grading system was different, and that we would not see high scores soon. “Everything you do in class matters,” she said. “As writing is an art, it takes a long time to perfect.” Mrs. Johnson scared me. I was afraid of what she would say if I asked a question. So in class I kept silent most of the time and couldn’t follow her. When I got my first essay back, my grade was terrible. I was annoyed with Mrs. Johnson. I disliked going to her class. Then I realized I needed to find out what I could do to improve my grade and how to use the “tools” in my writing. As I still didn’t dare to talk to Mrs. Johnson in person, I e-mailed her. In this way, she and I worked together to improve my writing. By and by, I could talk to her both online and in person. She walked me through every step to understand how to write an essay. Together we saw improvement in my work. From this I discovered that asking for help could actually work.
