If I were a teacher, I would make friends with my students. I would respect them and understand them. If I were a teacher, I would make study a happy thing to my students, but not a burden to them.

一天，英语老师突然和我们说要挑选几位同学去上公开课。我们既激动，又紧张，既想去上，又怕选不上。最终我被老师选上了。我心想：既然被选上了，就应该认真去上这节课。
我认真地准备着，等待着那天的到来。丁零零，初一(1)班的英语老师带着我们去上公开课，100多位老师坐在我们旁边，我的心怦怦直跳。开始上课了，我们每个人都争先恐后的举手，课堂既精彩，又刺激。
这节课回答的问题都是关于钟面的问题，相信大家对钟都很感兴趣吧!然后，老师提供了我们胶水、剪刀、蜡笔等材料……让我们做钟。大家都知道，平时的英语课都是回答问题、划划词组、就结束了。可这次，我却要在英语课上做钟，羡慕吧!接下来要开始做钟了，我和我的同学林宗裕一组，我先把钟的'外框剪下来，小林则把钟面的指针剪下来，钟面的基本做完了，我们就要开始涂色了，我先涂上了绿色，然后红色……接下来由小林来涂色，我则用大头针把钟面的指针钉住，接下了就只要把指针钉上去，我们可是第一个做完的呢!
最终我们的这节公开课非常成功，老师不仅得了奖，我们还得了一些奖励呢!
这节课使我情有独钟，我喜欢这节课!因为这节课的形式太独特了!

英语中考说明作文部分新增了样题，北京十一学校英语老师韩永萍说，考生写英语作文要用好提示词。
中考英语作文有2道作文题：一是在汶川地震中，9岁学生林浩救了2名同学，然后步行7个小时到达安全地点。请考生就林浩的事迹，以LearnfromtheHero为题，给学校英语专刊投稿。二是要求考生写一封回信。2篇作文都给出了提示词。
韩老师说，中考一直以来都是考记叙文，但20xx年这篇属于夹叙夹议。这提醒了今年的中考生，要注意练习写议论文，而不能只拘泥于记叙文。在英语作文中，最容易出的'错就是跑题，抓不住重点。如有些考生知道林浩的事迹，因此将作文未给的提示，如具体地震日期5月12日、林浩是班长、林浩被评为见义勇为少年等信息全部写上。这些虽不是不能写，但置提示词于不顾，非要挑战高难度，显然是本末倒置。
中考作文不是考生新句型的练兵场，考生要确保写作的每一句话都是正确的，没必要非尝试长难句不可。提示词实际上已涵盖了文章的重点内容，考生只要按部就班按中文句子和提示词将句子翻译出来即可。可惜有的考生并不领情，舍提示词不用。
此外，考生卷面尽量不要涂改，字迹要工整。一篇看起来杂乱不堪的文章，会让评卷老师没有耐心读下去，从而影响得分。
