椒美人，是我们班上英语老师焦娟。为什么会拥有这样一个“雅号”呢？椒，辣椒也，美人，美女也。呵呵，合起来解释，就是说我们的焦老师是有着辣椒性格的美女呀。
的确，焦老师很美。大大的眼睛，如一股清泉，似乎能洗涤人的心灵，白皙的皮肤，更加衬托出她精致的五官。着一身运动服，活脱脱一个运动健将，浑身都洋溢着青春的`气息；着一件民族风的长裙，活脱脱一个电影明星走出荧屏……
很多同学都说“椒美人”人很好，那是肯定的，因为我亲身经历过。
那时，正当夏季，焦老师给我们上早自习。太阳很早就升起来了，几缕阳光射进教室，正好照在我的座位上，我受不了太阳的炙晒，只好用手遮着太阳。焦老师注意到了这点，便站在我的身旁带着我们读单词，用她的身体挡住了本该照到我身上的阳光。
就是这样一个小小的举动，让我的心海泛起了狂澜，焦老师就这样在不经意间给予学生无私的关怀。
椒美人也有生气的时候，要不，怎么对得起“椒”这个雅号呢？
早自习，焦老师给我们听写单词，有几个同学抄了小纸条作弊，被焦老师发现了，焦老师轻轻地警告了一句：“不要作弊，你们的基础我清清楚楚……”可有几个小鬼头还在悉悉索索，焦老师又语重心长地说：“读书是自己的事情呀，何必欺骗老师，欺骗家长呀！”那些作弊的人硬是停不下“犯罪”的脚步，焦老师大吼一声：“太不爱面子了，连起码的做人的道理都不懂，给我站起来……”顿时，和风细雨变成了暴风骤雨，焦老师辣劲儿一下子爆出来了，连珠炮似的话语句句呛人，教室里弥漫着爆炒辣椒时的冲味儿，直到那些舞弊的同学低下头来……

用介词短语替代从句，例：
原句：While they were playing tennis， she started an argument that lasted all morning.
修改后：During tennis she started an argument that lasted all morning.
原句：When you come to the second traffic light， turn right.
修改后：At the second traffic light turn left.
小升初英语写作技巧之二：
删除诸如who is或that is之类的关系代词，变从句为短语，例：
句：The novel， which is written in three parts， told a story that took place in the Middle Ages.
修改后：The three-part novel told a story set in the Middle Ages.
注：把句中的three parts改用形容词来表达，节省了四个不必要的单词which is written in。我们经常可以将关系代词如that去掉，这只会引起最少的变动。
小升初英语写作技巧之三：
剔除你不需要的单词，例：
Two joint partners will present their views over a long-distance telephone call. 写完这样的.句子后，你自己再读一遍，挑出单词joint和telephone，注意删去不必要的词。
