在我的学校里，有许多老师给我留下了深刻的印象，比如讲课生动又爱美的语文老师，爱穿裙子又总板着脸的数学老师，但我最喜欢的还是那位严肃又风趣的英语老师。
我们的.英语老师看过去已经年迈，脸上布满了深深的皱纹，眼睛虽小，但很敏锐。就是因为拥有一双火眼金睛，我们的一举一动她尽在掌握之中。她的耳朵很灵敏，即使站在讲台上，也能清楚地听到我们的窃窃私语声。她的肚子大大的，肥肥的，至少向外鼓起了三层，就像三个大大的游泳圈套在身上一样。而且，她走起路来，肚子总是摇来晃去，很有弹性。
我们的英语老师很严肃。如果最后一节课是英语课，同学们都会提心吊胆。因为英语老师一上完课就会要求我们默写单词，如果没有过关，全班都会被留下来，然后一个个同学排队过关。每每此时，英语老师都会板着脸，只要错一个单词，她的眉头定会瞬间皱在一起，就像高耸的山峰。有时候，她气急败坏，甚至会毫不留情地撕掉作业，让我们重新默写，嘴里也不饶人：“让你们家长给你们带个馒头来，过不了关中午就啃馒头。”同学们听后都唉声叹气，只得努力地背默单词。后来我们才知道，英语老师原来是教初中英语的，见到了许多基础不过关的初中生，所以希望我们在小学时就把基础学扎实，以免日后吃苦头。老师真是用心良苦啊！
虽然英语老师很严格，但讲起课来却风趣幽默。开学第一天，她大摇大摆地走了进来，肚子一弹一弹的，让人忍俊不禁。她站在讲台前，扫了全班同学一眼，然后滔滔不绝地讲英语课上的规则。接着，她话锋一转，又和我们念叨，让我们努力学习，肚子的“墨水”多了，自然就会和她一样变成大肚子。说到这儿，老师便拍拍自己的大肚子。“哈哈哈……”全班哄堂大笑。
