This is really a special winter holiday for me， the first holiday in my university life。
I tried something new。 I spent 7 days being a TA in an English educational institution。 I was a TA for 2 foreign teachers， Nico and Eva。 At first， I was anxious and worried a lot。 You know actually it’s not hard to communicate with them， but I had to be with them for totally 7 days， and talked to them a lot。 I was just afraid that they would look upon me if I made some mistakes。 But later I found out my worries were unnecessary， Eva and Nico could understand me and were patient while I had trouble talking to them。 By the way， this time， I got to know the work of TA was not that easy as I expected， or， more precisely， very challenging。 I had lots to do。 I had to sum up the key points， discuss the next day’s teaching plan with foreign teachers， and make some preparations for classes。 Sometimes I almost stressed out。
The form of our English class is called Winter Camp， which plans to make students learn English unconsciously while they are playing。 It means more enjoyment for children， but at the same time， the more work and preparations for teachers。 For example， the theme of our first class was Food and Health。 Students would make sandwiches by themselves。 So I had to firstly go to the Wal—Mart to buy the needed materials， toast， lettuce， mayonnaise， and etc。 Then I had to wash the lettuce; cut the ham into
pieces; allocate the bread and so on。 Finally I had to clean the desks after students finished their making。 Everyday I was tired as a dog。 I could fall asleep as soon as my head touched the pillow。 Though tired but fun。 I don’t want to try anything like this a second time。 I was just joking， I’m willing to be a TA again。

this information was then used to calculate napoleons weight in the months leading up to his death.
the largest pair of trousers napoleon wore had a waist measurement of 110cm; those he wore just before his death measured 98cm.
this, they say, shows he lost between 11 and 15kg over the last si months of his life.
the swiss team says the presence of arsenic in napoleons hair, the source of the poisoning theory, was linked to his enthusiasm for wine.
at the time, it was the custom of winemakers to dry their casks and basins with arsenic.

Part One of the Writing Test paper will require you to write a message or memo according to the instructions given. Usually a description of the context is given and an indication of the person for whom the message is intended. In addition, 3 tasks are given for you to include in your message, note, or memo.
If you are asked to write a memo, you should not worry about the actual form of the memo. Address your memo to the person mentioned in the instructions (eg Dear Mr Lao or simply Mr Lao) but R isn t necessary for you to include any other details such as an address, or a date in memos for this test.
