　　I have a very good English teacher. Our class all like her very much. Though she’s our English teacher, but we often call her name Holly. She is very friendly to us. We all like to have English classes very much.

　　She is so young and beautiful. She looks like a middle school student. She has two big eyes and long hair. She likes wearing T-shirts and jeans.

　　She teaches English very well. In class, she looks like our elder sister. We usually learn new things by playing games and singing songs ,so we always have fun in English class. She often helps us to solve problems. After class, she looks like our friend. We often play games together.

　　My favourite teacher is Miss Huang. She is a beautiful lady. She has two big eyes, a high nose and a little red mouth. There is always a smile on her face.

　　我的英语老师姓陈，她是个出了名的严师。五十多岁的年龄，都快退休了，但仍然充满活力。你无论什么时候看她，都是一副精气神十足的模样。我喜欢陈老师。

　　陈老师的瓜子脸上镶嵌着一双明亮的大眼睛，高挺的鼻梁上架着一副近视眼镜，一看就知道她有满肚子的学问。

　　有一次做练习，我错了一道选择题。这道题有一问一答，选择的横线在问题里面，于是我就把前一个问句订正了一遍，就交到了陈老师手里。不一会儿，陈老师就把我叫去，严肃地说：“把下面的.那个句子也订正一下。”我疑惑不解，选择的横线在第一个句子里面，第二个句子里面没有选择的横线，干嘛还要把第二个句子也订正呢？

　　我去问陈老师，她指着题目，语重心长地对我说：“你看，第二个句子是第一个句子答案的根据。你之所以选错了答案，是因为没有仔细阅读第二个句子。你想，如果没有第二个句子，那这题岂不是四个答案都可以选啦！那还叫什么选择题啊？我这么做是想要让你养成良好的学习习惯，知道吗？”我恍然大悟，终于明白了陈老师的良苦用心，若有所悟地点了点头。

　　陈老师不仅在学习上对我们要求极高，还非常关心我们的课余生活，经常组织我们去爬山、旅行等。

　　这个暑假，一些同学跟随陈老师去了新疆旅游，她给我们展示了好多优美的照片：巍峨的山峰、浪漫的薰衣草、平静的赛里木湖，还有热情的当地百姓……看得我们如痴如醉。

　　乍一看，在我眼里，你只是一个普通的英语老师。但是后来，不知不觉，因为你，我爱上了英语。

　　初一第二学期，一时读不了书，所以考试的时候看不了很多题，就乱填。交完试卷，其他人都在如火如荼的讨论题目，我却一个人坐在座位上，仿佛置身于另一个世界。

　　果然，第二天早上英语课代表让我去办公室接你，我一步一步慢慢走到办公室。教室离办公室只有几米远，却让我感觉像长征。

　　我轻轻推开门，叫了一声报告，慢慢走了进来。当时你正坐在办公椅上，快速批改作业。我悄悄走过去。当你侧身一瞥，看到我的时候，你放下笔，拿出一张试卷。

　　进入到初中已有一个多星期了。在这里，我认识了许多老师，其中，就不乏我们的英语老师－－周老师。

　　周老师一幅中等身材，四十岁左右的样子，长发披肩，眼睛又大又有神，她总是微笑着，看着大家，她的微笑给人春风拂面的感觉，让人的心中感觉莫名的温暖。她平常教导我们总是十分认真，连一些特别微小的细节，她都会给我们讲得仔仔细细。

　　她在刚开始教我们英语的时候，是给我们上字母课。二十六个字母的大小写，是她花了五节课给我们上完的。她一丝不苟地教我们每一个字母大小写的笔顺笔画，比如“V”的小写右边要圈上一个小点，“H”的大写的笔顺要先写两竖，再写“横”……诸如此类的一些内容，她都给我们讲得很仔细。遇到重要的地方，她还会加以强调，让我们加深印象。英语本来是很难的一门学科，但经过周老师细致入微地讲解之后，同学们都感觉，英语其实很简单很有趣啊！我们学英语的`兴趣越来越浓。

　　英语的词汇很多，我们必须背很多单词。她在我们“背”的这一方面，从不推荐我们死记硬背，因为在她给我们上按元音音素组成的字母表的时候，她就是这么告诉我们大家的：“按照字母表的顺序，将每个单词都读出来，再把它们填入它们的那一类中。”这样把单词归类以后，我们记一个单词，就会联想起许多单词，单词记起来就轻松多了。

　　使我印象最为深刻的，是周老师发作业时的情景。因为都是新生，彼此之间都不熟悉，她就一个座位一个座位地挨着问，从来不嫌麻烦。因此，她总是每天中午很早就来了，有时候，她也会在下午四节课全部上完的那一段时间来，然后一本一本发作业，就像一个辛勤的园丁，一步一步耕耘着脚下的土地。如果哪位学生有错误，或是完成作业的态度不够认真，被她批评也是绝对的，她也会像园丁一样毫不客气地剪掉我们身上的枯枝烂叶。我在开学的时候被批评过一次。从此，我完成作业的态度也是认真了许多。

　　因为她，我们和英语之间的距离更进一步；也因为她，我们的学习开拓到一个全新的高度。她，就是我的英语老师－－周老师！
