　　Now, I am a senior student in high school, who worked so hard in the past two years. As we all know, the study burden of high school students in China is heavy. Therefore, we spend most of our time in study and we have little time to have fun. However, I still consider the days in high school are the greatest, because I develop my strong will, improve my comprehensive abilities and make good friends in high school. In daily life, I meet many problems in life and study, but I overcome them all. In the process, I get improvement. In addition, I develop deep relationships with my classmates while we study together. We help each other and make progress together. We share our happiness and sorrows and support each other. 　　第一个节目是英语小话剧表演，这个节目是由英语社团的同学策划表演的，这次演出获得了老师和同学们的一致好评。

　　第二个节目是由高年级同学当小老师教一二年级的小同学学英语。我们是一对一教学，我教的小同学是二（1）班的汪源。我认真地教他学习了一些简单的日常用语，这位同学非常聪明，没教几遍他就学会了，并且可以和我进行英语对话了，我圆满地完成了任务，心里感到很开心。

　　第三个节目是送英语贺卡。我和同学们都精心制作了很多贺卡。这些贺卡的图案和祝福语都是由我们自己设计的。我把这些贺卡送给了我最要好的朋友，也衷心地祝福他们快乐每一天，我也收到了很多同学送给我的贺卡，让我感到了友谊的珍贵。

　　For today's Christian, the origin of Christmas is, and should be, the birth of Jesus Christ as recorded in the Bible. Nothing more and nothing less. However, most of what we witness on December 25th each year has absolutely nothing to do with that blessed day, which probably occurred in late summer or early fall about 2,000 years ago. In fact, most of the customs and traditions of Christmas actually pre-date the birth of Jesus, and many of them are downright deceptive in their meaning and origin. Anyway, who cares when Christ was born?

　　Christmas Day,the 25th of December,is the biggest festival(节日)celebrated in the Christian countries of the world.Although everyone enjoys Christmas Day,it is particularly enjoyed to children,who get very excited because of the presents they know they are going to receive.Small children believe that their presents are brought by Father Christmas(圣诞老人).Father Christmas is a kind of old man who,the children are told,lives at the North Pole.He travels through the sky on a sleigh(雪撬) which is pulled by reindeers(驯鹿) and loaded with(装满) presents.Stopping on the roof of houses,he enters to climbing the chimney(烟囱).When small children go to bed on Christmas Eve,they hang a stocking at the end of their beds.Their parents warn them not to try to look at Father Christmas,or he will not leave them anything.When they wake,they find their stockings filled with presents.Children are very excited on Christmas morning and always wake up early.

　　Christmas is also a family celebration.As any members of the family as possible gather to eat,play party games and watch the special Christmas programmes on TV.
